Easy to use, great tutorials

I got the Monthly Membership. The website was easy to navigate. The Royal Icing Masterclasses were very informative. I learned a lot. Videos played without problems. Definitely worth it for new skills.

Consistently good classes

This was my third time renewing my Annual Membership with Avalon Cakes. I originally joined for the Character Cake Tutorials and have stayed because the content is always relevant and updated. This year's batch of holiday themed tutorials felt fresh, just like my first year. The platform is reliable, I've never had issues accessing classes, and the live Q&A sessions are still a valuable part of the subscription. It's nice knowing what to expect.

Good content, small glitch

I signed up for the Monthly Membership to try out some new buttercream techniques. The tutorials were really clear and easy to follow, I especially liked the one on smooth finishes. My cake looked much better. Delivery isn't really a thing here, it's all online content, which loaded fine. Customer service was quick to answer a question I had about a specific tool mentioned in one video. The only small thing is that sometimes the video player was a bit slow to respond when I tried to scrub through sections, but it wasn't a deal-breaker.

I primarily joined for the Fondant Sculpting Courses and the Structure and Gravity Defying Cakes. The video quality is excellent, and I appreciate that they show different angles. The downloadable PDF templates were very helpful for the character cake tutorial I followed. I had a quick question about accessing a specific older class, and support responded within a few hours with clear instructions. The private community access is a nice bonus, though I haven't engaged much with it yet. Overall, it's a solid platform for learning; I just wish there were more intermediate baking recipes included with the art side of things.
